Dear Parents,
The month of September has gone by quickly and the children are beginning to settle into their classrooms nicely. The themes for this month are Autumn and Halloween.
The color of the month is orange.
Friday, October 7th at 6:30pm is our Open House. The school will close at 3:00pm on this day. This will be your opportunity to express your wishes and to hear what our goals are for the 2011 / 2012 school year. This is the time to ask questions of the classroom directresses. We encourage you to find a babysitter and come be a part of your child`s world. We look forward to seeing you at the Open House.
Monday, October 31st is our Halloween Celebration. The school will close at 3:00pm on this day, so please make arrangements for 3:00pm pick-up. The Halloween party will start at 6:00pm. The children should dress in normal school clothes during the day and come in their costumes for the party. They are learning songs and poems to recite for their parents. The celebration this year will be held in the American Protestant Church.
It will be lots of fun so plan on attending with your child. After the performances we will have refreshments and parents who wish to contribute can provide cookies or other baked goodies. Your efforts would be greatly appreciated.
PLEAS: No toy guns, knives, swords or any other weapons as part of the costumes.
